Outstanding job, guys! he menu, ambiance, and staff are all great. There is one male bartender there with dark hair, that I was not impressed with, as he was very stand-off-ish to me when I inquired about a particular beer, but I can't let that tarnish my review...would love to see the upstairs opened up so you can watch the bands from up there better. Over all, and amazing hang in the burg!
An evening at Blue Note is akin to being transported back in time to a swank, big city night club. It’s an absolutely lovely place. I’ve been there many times and have never been disappointed with food, service, or entertainment. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere and conversation come early or have drinks and appetizers in the upstairs speak easy. If you want to see and hear the main act of the evening make your reservation to encompass the main act’s performance time. Visiting Blue Note is a great night out on the town!
What an electric club! The jazz was super hot, the food was great. We both had steaks to order and they came out perfect. These drinks are wonderful. This place was everything we wanted it to be. We had a great evening there and can't wait to come back. Service was also excellent!
I have been here several evenings to hear local blues musicians. The free music has been great. I love the interior design. Reminds me of some places I have visited in New Orleans, especially the upstairs. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Looking forward to eating there one of these times
Absolutely fantastic little place in an old bank. Great premise, fantastic lighting and decor. The old bank vault is the 'wine Cellar "! Even the former managers office, upstairs, has been turned into a speak easy. If you haven't been, go... You'll love it too.
Had a great time eating dinner and then having a drink in the speakeasy upstairs. Wait staff was very helpful with recommendations and food was excellent. They have some bold flavor combinations, those won't disappoint. This is Fine Dining so dress up a little and have a great time. Decor and ambiance is great, prices are very reasonable compared to other fine dining option in the area.
My wife and I shared our 30th anniversary there. What a fantastic place ! The atmosphere was very warm , comfortable and beautifully decorated . The service and staff were wonderful .They were kind, smiling and very attentive to our needs. Then the food came ! My wife ordered the rib eye and I ordered the filet. May be one of the best steaks we have had ! The entertainment was Blue Heron Trio . Absolutely wonderful band to sit and listen to over cocktails . We really enjoyed this place and will highly recommend it to all our friends. Cheers !
